And 2 million of that was fighting Floyd. What does that say? Are you seriously implying if he hadnt fought the best fighter in the world the fight would have been even close to as successful?

Holy **** I didnt know that some of you were so damn ******ed.

No way in hell is he going to get 20 million. Wake up. Wrestling is ... wait for it,,,,, FAKE. 99.9% of the **** they spew to sell tivkets/ppv is bs. ****, I realized this when i was 8 years old.

As for him wrestling... who gives a ****, but make the cotto fight happen.

Actually never mind, him wrestling is a real bad idea. Imagine it now, he falls wrong after a slam or somthing and ****s up a shoulder or whatever and risks not being able to fight anymore. Wrestling, as fake as it is requires alot of athletesism. Those fake slams and **** still can hurt and heaven forbid you land wrong. Those guys may look like big lumbering ****s, but you would be surprised how agile some are.

To people's credit who believe he will make $20 mill, both Yahoo and ESPN reported that he would make $20 mill

If this is indeed the case when all is said and done I will scrape and bow and apologize. But were they just reporting what the Wrestling media had reported or do they have more in depth sources? Just re-quoting whatever the Wrestling guys are sayin means **** to me. I`m just worried he might get injured with this ****. As fake as it is its hard on the body. Hopefully no slams or whatever are part of his match.

I have no idea how much Mayweather is getting, but 20 million seems really high. I don't watch wrestling so I don't know how things work but I'd be surprised if they pay their biggest stars 20 million for an entire year. Whatever he chooses to do, dance, wrestle, or whatever doesn't matter. But if he's going to box he really should face Cotto especially if he beats the Cintron-Margorito winner.

No that puts his total to over 12 million.;)

When it comes to being a draw Floyd isn't Oscar's bootlace.

I believe what he's saying is that if you take DLH out of the picture and have PBF vs a top contender be it cotto or whoever you have Floyd not even being able to outdraw Chuck Liddel from the UFC. Pre-Oscar De LaHoya PBF wasn't much of a draw. Beating Oscar has everything to do with PBF's increase in PPV buys for the Hatton fight (besides those squirrely brits of course).

Number one P4P and extreme talent that he is when you talk of a draw in boxing, DLH is the man pure and simple.

    True and false
    first sentence - true.
    Second sentence - fasle

more importantly, if pbf does not fight cotto soon. Lets give it a year from now.. cotto fans and pbf haters will think pbf is ducking cotto..

I guess I year of WAITING si FAIR ENOUGH!

I would rather pay for a Cotto fight that see these Floyd fight a garbage boring ud fight. And well why don't Floyd retire and at least, let the real fighter fight betwen them and bring back exigment to boxing, Floyd is a joke to the sport and need to get the **** out of boxing, and go and acariciate another man for moeny.

Your the dumbest person to ever post if you think mayweather is the draw in these two fights.

I'm glad someone has the same question I do... does it really make any sense for the WWE to throw around that kind of cash for a 1-off event?

That $20 mill figure seems like something to hype the event. And there sure are plenty of people grabbing for it.

People say it expands Floyd's fanbase (it may, I'll admit, amongst haters of a particular wrestler)... it sounds around here like there are plenty of Floyd's fanbase to start watchin some wrasslin'. The WWE has hooked you - and probably for much less than $20 mill.
