No ifs, no buts no maybes Haye didn't sign the contract.

They had the money, advertising and venues all sorted all Haye had to do was sign but he didn't. That was it just put pen to paper and the fight would be locked in.

Once that contract was signed they were fighting and we got the fight we all wanted to see. Haye didn't sign it's his fault the fight isn't happening. Wladimir was willing to sign, he said it publicly Haye wasn't and now says he must fight Chagaev......like 30 days longer makes THAT much difference :S

Haye didn't sign so Haye fans don't whine. It is a duck.

Both fighters were to blame, so both sides are whining.

Case in point, you're whining for Wlad right now...

    Haye said:

I have to fight Chagaev, otherwise I get stripped of the WBA title.
"We agreed the money, the stadium and the TV stations but now that he's chosen to fight someone else,

From Haye's mouth!! They agreed to the same date! Yet the fight can't happen on that date ROFL!

They agree to the same date then suddenly Haye says Chagaev is his mandatory and he has to fight him now ROFL!

Haye is contradicting himself here. He can't even lie clearly!!!

This is pathetic mate. There's always ifs and buts and maybes when there are two sides to the story.

At the same time that you say that Haye could have signed (which is completely legitimate) you could say that knowing it was make or break issue, if Wald really wanted the fight then he could have not fought 14 fight British level Chisora 8 weeks earlier and we'd have a fight. But Haye didn't concede to Wlad's terms and Wlad didn't concede to Haye's.

All things considered, Wladimir is more at fault than Haye is this time. There isn't really any way to hide from that fact at the moment, and you will look silly trying to.

What right does haye have to say who Wlad fights before they fight? I mean honestly? He has no say their fight was their fight and Haye personally didn't want Waldo fighting beforehand so pulled out of signing.

He has the right to ask Wlad not to have the fight, just like Wlad had the right to say if you beat me you have to fight my brother next. That's his prerogative.

Maybe Haye didn't want to risk what is potentially the last fight of his career having to scrape around finding a venue and an opponent at less than 8 weeks notice. If something happened to Wlad, even a cut or a muscle strain the fight would be in jeopardy. This is boxing, anything can happen.

Come on man, see the bigger picture. It's more satisfying, I promise

It's life, anything can happen. I think Wlad should demand Haye no to go to a training camp like two years ago when he 'pulled' his back. You follow the drift, shaunster?

You again :blood. I assume you're playing devil's advocate, but I'll indulge you regardless

I 'get your drift' but you're taking a valid point to an absurd extreme to try to prove a flimsy point. You're equating the risk involved with stepping in the ring for a scheduled 12 round, full contact heavyweight fight without headguards etc with the risk involved in going through the most basic of boxing practices - a training camp.

I'm not even siding with Haye or Wlad. The blame lies between them.

Not wanting to risk blow big PPV date by having to get some chump to step in at short notice in the last year of your career isn't unreasonable. Especially when the venue is in Germany so you don't even have that to fall back on if it goes tits up.

No true. They agreed on all terms and Wlad chose to fight otherwise. Haye has to defend agains mandatory or lose his title. Haye does not get all the blame here. K2 doesn't look like they wanted the fight either.

Agree. I don't consider myself a Haye fan any more because I'm sick of his bull**** but I don't think he's to blame this time. This is meant to be a super fight, how can they go about marketing and promoting it if Wlad is tied up with another fight? Also what about the risk of cuts, injuries etc especially after Wlad just cancelled a fight due to a training injury.

This is ****ing bull**** from Wlad this time. Haye may have ducked both brothers in the past for whatever reason but this time it's Wlad's fault without a doubt.
