& I dont even like Adonis but it is what it is...

If Adonis has wins over Bhop & Dawson,he is clear #1 @ 175

Kovalev is a good boxer & Adonis did duck him,but look at his resume it aint all that good...

Just cause you are a good boxer & were ducked it dont make you #1 in your division... Wins over Bhop.& Dawson are MUCH BETTER then anything Kovalev did. Kovalevs best win is Cleverly...

HBO had an agreement with Stevenson to fight Kovalev, Stevenson then ran to Showtime to keep from fighting Kovalev. Kovalev would knock Stevenson out and Stevenson knows it. Hopkins also refused to fight Kovalev, they run from him for a reason. Ward refused to fight Kovalev and he also refused to fight Stevenson at 175 or even 168, SOB is a coward.................and he will probably never fight again anyway because he will be tied up in court for a very long time...........Hell, Fonfara had Stevenson hurt and went 12 rounds, Kovalev would murder Stevenson............

Shameless ducking like this is what's tarnishing the career of many talented fighters like GGG, and Kovalev who were truly destined for pugilistic greatness. :-(

It's a damn shame this is allowed to go on any further.

Fact is he changed networks to avoid fighting Kovalev so cant call him the best until he beats Kovalev.

Indeed, he's most definitely going for a payday against Hopkins. Stevenson made the right choice to fight with SHOWTIME, they offer better/bigger fights.

You clowns never fail to amuse with your stupidity. He changed networks to avoid ONE MAN?, are you for real?. He changed networks because better/bigger paydays are with SHOWTIME.

Imo yes. If he was confident of beating Kovalev he fould have beaten him before moving networks and then if he beat BHop he would have cleared out 175 and be widely recognised as the best. The fight vs Kovalev was all sorted and ready to go before he changed networks.

And if Im stupid then you are too unless you can read Stevensons mind and prove his thoughts and motivations.

Why would he fight Kovalev before changing networks?, what would that fight provide in terms of money for all the risk it brings?. Kovalev' biggest win remains to be Cleverly, is there any other fight worth noting for him?. Stevenson moved networks because of the better financial offerings he's going to get over there, it has nothing to do with Kovalev. These guys won't be fighting in the ring for a living if they're scared.

Why fight Kovalev? It was all agreed to and Kovalev is top 1-3 in the division and is a title holder. Also theres this thing some boxers do, even still today, about wanting to be the best? Why say in interviews he has no problem facing Kovalev when the fight was made and he didnt go through with it? And HBO would have given him a good payday too Im sure, and if he beat Kovalev then he would be in for bigger paydays in the future.

And dont discredit Kovalev, Cleverly was a titlest and widely ranked top 3-5, Kovalev destroyed him. Cleverly beat Bellew who Stevenson fought afterwards and beat Murat who Hopkins fought afterwards, so its not as if Stevenson is fighting that much better caliber of fighter or anything.

After 6th round Adonis will not win a single round agains Hopkins, Hopkins will pick him apart and school him, but it is hard to predict how 50 year old man will look but few years ago Hopkins beats him easy.
Kovalev would KO him but i see you are deluded "Superman" fan.
