bottom line is this. I remember back before the margo fight when this matchup was tossed around people acted like rabid maniacs saying cotto would have tore him up etc.. Now that the fight has happened and clottey got robbed (cotto got outlanded and was running scared just surviving), its good to see that mostly everyone was wrong back then.
i was/am an adament supporter of clottey. i was sporting the avatars and making the pro clottey threads and this was not a robbery. i felt clottey won but i think clottey can walk away form it with his head held high. cotto looked bullied and didnt show enough to win the fight but it was a great close fight and this is NOT a robbery. 4 rounds could of swung either way. with a possible 10-8 in the 1st that means clottey had to win 7 rounds solidly just to make it close. he won 5 rounds one sidedly but the last few rounds and the 3 broken rounds due to the butt,the push and the lowblow made it hard to tally up. all reality i think a rivision shoudl be done on the scorecards anyone agree? deserving of a rematch defintly.
