7-5 Easter. This was a pretty close fight. Easter needs to work on conditioning. He had nothing left that last round.. he was sucking air.

    Round 1 Easter 10-9
    Round 2 Easter 10-9
    Round 3 Easter 10-9
    Round 4 Easter 10-9
    Round 5 Shafikov 10-9
    Round 6 Shafikov 10-9
    Round 7 Easter 10-9
    Round 8 Easter 10-9
    Round 9 Easter 10-9
    Round 10 Easter 10-9
    Round 11 Shafikov 10-9 Close
    Round 12 Shafikov 10-9

Denis throwing his jab, Easter backing away, hard overhand lands on Easter, Denis lands a few jabs, and some more, they hold, Shafikov is unloading, landing to the body and a few up top, they exchange hooks, Easter holding, Shafikov working his body, Easter looks tired as hell, Easter fires back, Denis fries right back.

    Easter 116-112

117-111 is also fine. 115-113 is a stretch but not out of the question.

    R12 Shafikov 10-9
    119-109 Easter Jr.

Shafikov starts out well. Shafikov digging in a little deeper getting better of the action. Too bad he needed a knockout to win. Should be a Easter Jr. win going away.

    Rd 2 10-9 Easter close
    Rd 3 10-9 Easter
    Rd 4 10-9 Shafikov
    Rd 5 10-9 Easter close
    Rd 6 10-9 Easter
Rd 7 10-9 Easter - the most one sided round of the fight thus far
Rd 8 10-9 Easter - starting to become one sided now.. Was competitive until the 7th.
    Rd 9 10-9 Easter
Rd 10-9 Shaifkov close. May be a little biased due to his improved performance though
Rd 11 N/A dozzed off for about 45 seconds...
    Rd 12 10-9 Shafikov close.

118-110, 117-111 or 116-112 Easter Jr. are all fine cards for this one. Only a few truly one sided rounds(7 and 8)

Problem is Easter isn't 36... so not as good a look.

Though he can use a lot from this fight to get better. Great learning experience.

Shafikov 7-5 . I like how he didnt go for the head and work the body in the early rounds and then it paid off in the end.

One thing is sure, Easter isn't afraid of brawling, he could learn some head movement because he has some good defense to the body, i was surprised at his lack of dominance with the lead foot over the southpaw but I believe he won, he displayed great inside fighting and that's even more impressive for a guy his size.
Anyway, he is just getting better and i just can't imagine what Emmanuel Steward would have done with him, Hearns at ringside is probably thinking the same.
I was on the Easter hype since he was an amateur and I'm still there.

7-5 Easter for me. I had it same as OP, but I gave one of the closer rounds to Shafikov.

For what it's worth, I thought this was a tough, closely contested fight. The PBC commentary was absolutely awful, and a straight up puff-piece for Easter. Really sucks the excitement out of it for the spectator. Just awful.

Easter jr. has a problem. He refuses to listen to his corner and he hates boxing. He's a bit like Lamont Peterson. Peterson can box well but he just doesn't fancy it.

Had he boxed in a disciplined way he could have made that a bit easier on himself.
