DLH- Mosley II for example. Apparently a lot of folks ringside thought that Mosley's bodywork earned him the win. After watching Calzaghe-Hopkins I'm curious why the AP and ESPN had Hopkins winning by a point. Seemed to me that Calzaghe won clearly by at least two or three.
I've sat rinside few quite a few televised fights, and they almost always look different on tv then live and in person. Up close you catch a lot more stuff and can hear the impact of punches. It effects how you score the fight a great deal.
i was at ringside for lennox lewis v justin fortune and fortune had a great fight...did really well...but on the tv it looked like he got a whupping...punches that connected when you saw it live appeared to miss on tv..
The crowds reaction is RJJ-Tarver 1 was uneccesersay, Roy edged the decision by one, as did Chad Dawson over Glen Johnson.
Mosley-De La Hoya 2 is a great example. There was a poll for the viewers on TV and the majority of the voters said DLH won. The majority of the ringside media felt Mosley won.
yh the dlh vs mosley II fight jumps staright out, watching at home it didnt seem mosley did much at all apart from the last two rounds
Mayweather/Castillo I. All 3 judges as well as many ringside observers had Mayweather winning by relatively wide margins.
