Personally, I would go with peak hw Evander to knock out Wlad, but the Bowe-Vitali one is a harder call. Bowe had better skills and better infighting, but Vitali is so strong and tough. If pushed, I give the edge to Bowe but it's a tough one.

Bowe is a mediocre boxer always was. He has only fights with little Evander. Bowe never beat a decent fighter as big as himself. He blatantly ran from Lewis and got dominated twice by Golota who was ok, but not at all on the same level as a Vitaly. The Evander fights are like an optical illusion, because seeing that Bowe could fight with the small Evander made Americans think that Bowe was good. It is necessary to understand that Tyson was excellent vs smaller guys (hence Tyson) and that Bowe was good vs smaller guy. So all pointed to Bowe having all the advantages. Still little Evander made it a fight. Then when Bowe showed his true colours again in the following fights.. the spin was that Bowe had the shortest prime in history. Reality is that Bowe just never was that good to begin with.

I would favour Klits to lose both. Though not sure about Holy's chances against Vitali, close fight to call that one, I'll take the guy that beat Tyson and Bowe however....Bowe was a superb fighter back then.

I'd take Holyfield over Wlad and Vitali over Bowe.

I disagree...Bowe was far from mediocre, he was a very skilled and talented heavyweight...more so then the Klits.

His title reign was short but he had done a lot before he beat Holyfield to show he was a decent fighter..beating Coetzer, destroying the likes of a young Seldon, and Cooper..He beat beat guys like Thomas, Biggs and Tubbs aswell.
Took out big guys like Gonzalez, Art Tucker and Marin.

There is a clear gulf between this Bowe and the one who fought Golota. Obviously factors outside the ring led to the shortening of his prime, probably a lot of them self inflicted.

We are talking his best form here and that version of Bowe was very good...far from mediocre.

Bowe would have a good chance of beating Vitali.
Holyfield would have a good chance of beating Wlad.

bowe and holyfield, in their primes, absolute, bet condition ever, beat both klitschkos i feel....bwe because he is big, hits hard, is mobile, likes a fight and is a bit unorthodox sometimes...a hard fighter for a 'thinker' like wlad to cope with......vitali, conversley, is an easier fight for bowe i think..both guys come to fight, both throw bombs, both have huge hearts and good chins...in their primes remember....but bowe is just better at this kind of guerilla warfare!!!....

holyfields work rate, conditioning and chin for me, means althoguh he may lose some early rounds against either k, he comes on strong down the straight, beating wlad by ko in late rounds and beating vitali by close, but ud....

How confident are you that Vitali beats Bowe, and why?

I think Vitali gets overrated on here a bit and I think would beat him. If a faded fighter like Lennox Lewis can beat Vitali then I would think a prime Bowe would win a UD or a late TKO in a competitive fight. Bowe's in-fighting skills would trouble Vitali as he likes to sit back with his hands down and pick you off with his jab.

Evander Holyfield would most certainly beat Wlad. Wlad reminds of a poor man's Lennox Lewis and if you remember correctly, Holyfield gave Lennox Lewis a very competitive fight in which he almost won. I pick Holyfield by UD or late KO because Wlad would be flustered when Holyfield shrugs off his jab and starts to work him on the inside.

In short, both Bowe and Holyfield would emerge victorous.
