Jesus, Ali would hit him with every shot in the book and taunt him between each one. Bowe is big and strong enough to make Ali respect him but his slow movement and porus defence would see him ship punches like mad.

Not sure Ali could knock him out, unless he was able to wear Bowe enough, but he would outbox him handily.

Bowe would be in it for the first 4 rounds or so as he looked for the knockout, but after that it would be all about Ali.

Rough style match-up for Bowe, very rough.

And even if it was (in an alternate universe) it would still mean little in this context.

Very true, also the fact Ali was off for those three years. I believe he fought one or two opponents and then he fought Joe. I truly believe Ali would have beaten Joe if it was not for the three years taken away from him. Ali punished Joe for the other rematches. Bowe is 6'5 and Ali 6'3 is not a big advantage. The weight would not really matter in this fight. Ali by UD or late stoppage.

Ali would land light combos and then get out of the way. Bowe would score at times with the jab but will be unable to land anything really big all night.

I reckon Lennox would give 60s Ali a very tough fight but make no mistake about it, Prime Ali would definitely dump Bowe in the trash can and take his chin home in a box
