No because outside of Holyfield, there was no one that posed a threat to Tyson.

But of course im waiting for you to tell me how 'prime' Seldon and Herbie Hide and Gonzales were going to beat Tyson.

Just like Anthony Joshua is going to walk through a prime Tyson according to you

No you're right the likes of Mercer, McCall and Morrison posed no threat for Tyson never mind the likes of Bowe, Foreman, Holyfield and Lewis.

Ray Mercer....didnt he lose to a journeyman who Tyson beat when he was on his way up?

    Jesse Ferguson ring a bell?

And here we go again, he lost to him so that means he would lose to him.

Go read the thread styles make fights, of course your ******ed brain can't register simple logic can it?

Holyfield ate Mercer up with left hooks, he had no answer for them. Tyson would have been the first to stop Mercer.

Tyson would have stopped McCall in a real fight as well. He isn't a Bruno, Lewis, or Seldon who would nail him with one good shot and set back and admire the work. Tyson wouldn't have let him off the ropes.

Morrison? Maybe he hurts Tyson but would probably fall into a punch on the follow up and go out cold.

I honesty think a post Ruddock Tyson would have nightmares against Mercer, Holyfield was in deep waters against Ray, Tyson couldn't handle what Holyfield did.

No way in hell does Tyson stop McCall, if anything it would be the other way around because Tyson would have nothing left after emptying his tank and not getting the knockout.

Mercer was a give and take punchbag, Tyson would have gladly fought his kind of fight.

Same with Mccall, who needed a 'comeback' against Lord Seldon.

Mcall couldnt stop Bruno, whos chin, mentality, stamina and heart were leagues below Tyson.

    Who did Mccall ever stop?

Oh he got that lucky right hand against Lewis and.......Seldon?

Holyfield isn't the puncher Tyson was, and he had Mercer down and on ***** street with his lshort eft hooks. Mercer troubled Holyfield with his busy jab, Tyson would welcome it.

Tyson wouldn't let McCall off the hook like Burno and Seldon did. An elite finisher wouldn't let their man fall into the ropes like that without following up. Tyson would pin McCall down and force the stoppage. Speaking of which, Bruno certainly didn't empty his tank against McCall. All it took was a few hard shots and McCall went into sparring partner mode.

The point im making is Mercer was a limited fighter.

A limited fighter who could not beat a journeyman the likes of Ferguson.

Tyson is a superior fighter and not only that Mercer brings no stylistic or physical advantages to the fight, oh except his chin.

    And he'll need that chin

Holyfield was the better alround fighter than Tyson, Lewis was definatly the puncher Tyson was yet he couldn't drop Mercer, your point is irrelevant. Since when as Tyson welcomed a good jab??

Tyson never dropped or hurt McCall in hundreds of rounds of sparring so what makes you think he could knockout Oliver who had a granite chin?? Bruno fights nothing like Tyson who would empty his tank on McCall and get nothing in return because he sure as hell ain't getting him out of there.
