Bowe was ****ing brilliant. This fight would have been epic, as would Bowe vs Tyson.

Prime Bowe was terrified and ran from Lewis, get your facts straight. Bowe was a mentally troubled and psychologically unstable man. A sad story, there's nothing to glorify here.

 

Lewis knocked Bowe out in the amateurs. I was in Bowe's camp years ago. I loved Eddie Futch, one of the best trainers in boxing history!

 

I think Bowe/Lewis and Bowe/Tyson serves as an EXCELLENT example of how people who thought "Oh the fights will come.. I am sure.. They have to come.. Just be patient" turned out to be flat wrong.

Bowe is the only reason that fight did not happen, and he ducked Lewis for obvious reasons. He would've gotten his arse handed to him, plain and simple.

Bowe would have been the most skilled and difficult fighter Lewis would have ever faced.

However, if Bowe's mindset is in a place of loss, then yes, Lewis is going to be favored.
