Bowe - Golota: Who would have won the two fights if the Pole wasn't a dumbass?

Everybody knows it would have been Golota this is a pointless thread really, if anybody thinks other wise they are just crazy.
What the real question about their two fights should be is why Didnt Eddie Cotton stop the fight in the 2nd fight after Bowe went down early and took a beating for the rest of the round? Golota landed 70 plus shots in that round I have seen refs stop fights for less.

Golota may have just saved Bowe's life by fouling out twice.

Can you imagine 5 more rounds of that type of WAR.Golota may have ended up how Bowe is now and Bowe could have died because it looked like Cotton wasnt going to stop despite Bowe not having his legs for nearly the entire second fight and half of the first.

Sometimes having a granite chin and a lion's heart can be a bad thing as in Bowe's case.He could have easily been another McLellan.

Golota was DQ'd in the 9th of a 10 rounder in the second bout. That was the one where Bowe sustained a long and brutal beating.

That Eddie Cotton or Bowe's corner didn't stop the fight was a DISGRACE. They would never let a fighter take that type of beating today.

Actually I thought Golota was more dominating the first time around. Certainly, Bowe took a more brutal physical beating the 2nd time around, but Bowe actually had some success in the 2nd fight, winning the 3rd round, dropping and hurting Golota in round 4. In the first fight, I'm not sure if I gave Bowe a single round (what was Lederman watching?).

Absolutely correct. Golota's attitude is if you foul me, I'll foul you back. He feels that the ref will ignore his opponents infractions, but get on AG's case for his. Watch after the first KD in the 2nd fight. When Golota has him up against the ropes & they're close, Bowe seems to try a minor headbutt & AG comes back with his own, IMMEDIATELY! Cotton stopped the action right then & there to warn Golota.

    Water under the bridge...:-(

Golota would have won both fights if you look at it logically??? But we are dealing with Golota here!!! Golota outboxed and outslugged 2 different versions of the same Riddick Bowe that just 6 months earlier, KOed Evander Holyfield! That is saying a lot! Too bad Golota was a mentalcase, he was a great fighter, a terrible waste of talent!

Just hypothetical if both fights would have went the distance.Bowe took a beating in the first fight and there was still 5+ rounds to go.

I'm positive Golota would've won both fights. At the point each fight was stopped on a DQ Andrew could've just coasted to a UD victory. I believe Golota was frustrated that he couldn't knock Bowe out so he hit him low on purpose. It seems no one told Andrew that he can win on points............................idiot.

Probably because Bowe was the champion and he wanted to give Riddick the benefit of the doubt. I think if Golota was defending his title Eddie would've stopped the fight right there.
