if Gonzo was a scary pro at the time Bowe refaced him it would of been more relevant.

Lets be fair, Gonzo didn't look good as a pro even before he re-matched Bowe.

The fact that it is being used as a point for Bowe over Lewis shows how limited the debate is.

Sorry if that sounds snotty, Its just my opinion on the matter, I admit I could be wrong.

So now Lewis and king were bed buddies. God you are one stupid poster. It's actually hard to believe that anyone could post that with a straight face.

The fact that Bowe was legally bound to fight Lewis and instead ducked him says everything anyone needs to know about who would have won. The duck essentially ruined Bowe's career. Just think a victory by Bowe would have given him wins over prime Holyfield and prime Lewis making him a top 10 ATG fighter, hell maybe even top 5. Now he'd top 15 at best.

If it was in fact the worst, it surely would have been a feat considering your material.

    1) Yes he is. If Dino wasn't around we'd have to invent him. Let's give him some credit, he's entertainment if nothing else.

    2) Agree with you about the ducking. If I thought that I could take a guy out and he was angling for a fight, the last thing that I'd do was frickin slink away. I mean, c'mon. Especially given what was at stake. Bowe knew that his ass was going to get whooped.

    Lewis >>>>>>>> Bowe

    All. Damn. Day.

Bowe was wise to duck Lewis. Would've murdered him.

Except it was Lewis that ducked Bowe and historical facts over rule stupid fanboi opinions such as yours.

When Bowe fought Holyfield as mandatory challenger , he earned $3m - which was his entitled 25% cut of the purse.

Lewis and Maloney refused that exact same offer and purse split. The age old 'pricing yourself out' tactic.

Here's the kicker. When the Tucker fight was signed , Lewis and his team were kicking up a fuss and refusing to share a 75 -25 split , claiming that newly crowned paper champ Lewis was entitled to 80% under the WBC rules.

    :rofl:oops:

    Read it and weep son.

He was guaranteed 25% to fight for the undisputed HW Championship and turned it down.

Bowe didn't turned it down vs Holyfield. Why did Lewis? Pretty simple to anybody who isn't a blinded gullible fanboi isn't it?

He wanted no part of Bowe after seeing how great he looked dismantling ATG Holyfield.

Come back with whatever gibberish you want. There's no arguing against cold hard facts.

    http://www.nytimes.com/1992/12/15/sports/boxing-bowe-trashes-his-wbc-title-belt.html

"Bowe, who won the heavyweight title last month from Evander Holyfield, symbolically trashed the green World Boxing Council belt and said he was relinquishing the title. The W.B.C. then crowned Lennox Lewis, who defeated Bowe in the superheavyweight division in the 1988 Seoul Olympics, as its new champion."

Looks like Dino got flattened again ;)

    Flattening ??

That link proves what i just posted. Lewis rejected the obligatory split.

He wanted more= pricing himself out.

You defeated yourself. Bowe and Newman had a problem with the WBC mugging them around. It had nothing to do with any fear of Lewis. But you have only the most simplistic view on the situation .

    He trashed the belt doe
    :crybaby:crybaby

That means Ruiz would have beaten Lewis by your own rationale yeah?
