Lewis beat a heavier version of Holy, no 205lbs fighter could beat Bowe.

Well, I think this pretty much ends that.

 

Bowe might have the best individual win of the two, but Lewis unequivocally has a better body of work.

 

Bowe had short time peak
Lewis was peak long time
maybe Bowe better for short time but is long over finished by 1997 when Lewis peak still get stronger

 

I think Lewis scared Bowe. He knew he'd end up pulverised.

Do you think Golota was still the same guy as he was before and during Bowe? And even if he was, i dont see a prime Bowe from 1992 would have that much trouble with someone like Mavrovic. Sure Lewis won it, but he had moments of trouble. A Bowe from the Holyfield 1 fight wouldnt have 1 second a problem with Mavrovic. Dont say he would KO him since Lewis punches harder then Bowe and couldnt hurt the Kroatian, but i dont see one punch in Mavrovics arsenal which would hurt Bowe, not even a bit.

Lennox right hand was harder as anything Riddick could throw, and Lennox had a much better jab. But Riddick had the better chin and recover ability. Like Fury Bowe was several times on the floor but never KOed. While Lewis was down twice and KOed twice in his pro career.

Bowe was more like Fury when it comes to recover ability, Lewis never had one like the two. Lennox wasnt so perfect like many ppl try to make him. From a scale 0-10 his chin was maxium 7 or 8, and his revocer abilty was not much higher 5 or 6. And his left hand wasnt really a KO weapon, not both sided KO puncher like Foreman or Tyson.

So a Bowe from November 1992 would be a Mount Everest for any version of Leiws to defeat. The problem is Bowe never reached this shape again because he couldnt resist to eat cake and chocolat croissants all the time. And thats most probably why Rock Newman never allowed him to fight Lewis since he knew it.
