As for your claim you saw knowledgeable guys give that rematch to Holyfield LOL Ive seen paid judges hand in absolutely ludicrous scorecards in fights & yet they STILL hold on to their jobs HOW!!!!! ?? Why don't the Commissions weed them out ?? You don't have to be Einstein to realize what is going on surely

Lol this is pure fantasy. Futch would have laughed his head off watching an early 90s Lewis.

I suspect the fight did not happen because of the 2 utter clown novice managers involved. Say what you want about King but he’d have sorted that fight.

Not the point. You said he never fought guys like Butler who could crack.

Here you go mate, I'm going to help you out here, Copy and paste this.

The winners of Lewis-Ruddock and Bowe-Holyfield 1 in Oct/Nov 92’ were supposed to fight each other.

After winning, Bowe signed a huge deal with Time Warner & TVKO and reneged on the previous agreement.

My guess is that Bowe & Newman wanted to milk it for as long as possible and make big money against soft (or perceived soft) opposition. Michael Dokes & Jesse Ferguson were horribly overmatched, and Holyfield was believed to be too shopworn going into the rematch.

Bowe & Newman most likely knew Lennox was a risky bout and wanted to milk it for all it’s worth. Similar thing we saw later with crap like Mayweather-Pacquiao and Crawford-Spence. But in this case, Lewis-Bowe didn’t happen years too late. It just plain didn’t happen.

Your right Floyd was only offered 5mil to fight Margarito and it was 8mil he was offered to fight Baldomir who was undefeated for 8 years.
Mayweather also made a public statement that he was no longer on his A game and his B game was fading meaning his body had been falling apart for a long time.
When Margarito came around asking to jump the line FMM turned him down because Floyd knew he was on his way out and he was looking for peydays.
The most I can make of it was really bad timing for Margarito but in absolutely in no way did FMM duck Margarito! As I said before
and you said aswell, 5mil for Margarito or 25Mil to fight ODLH one of goats?

Or Golota destroyed Bowe and his career. Lewis annihilated Golota.

Exactly. They wanted the fight to happen eventually. Just wanted it to be a big super fight.

Bowe fought Dokes and on the undercard was Mercer vs Ferguson. The plan was for Bowe to beat Dokes and fight Mercer but Ferguson upset Mercer so Bowe fought Ferguson instead

Bowe was victimized by his scumbag manager. True, Bowe was very dumb for following his advice on the trash can.

Lewis was offered 13 million to fight Bowe (I believe it was around the time of Holyfield III) and Lewis turned it down....a fight most people (incluing me) think Lennox would have won at the time.

So Lennox did what could be construed as pussillanimous things, too. Let's not just pile it up on Bowe.

And absolutely, Lewis is by far the greater ATG. Hands down.

Very few will put Bowe ahead of Lewis on the ATG list.
In an amateur fight, Lewis knocked out Bowe.
