Bowe loses to holy field in 93. Then instead of fighting mccall Lewis signs to fight bowe. I always thought Lewis would defeat bowe whenever they met but this Lewis was making mistakes and against mccall a big one. So does riddick have a good shot at beating this version of lennox?

I think there was a window of time where Bowe could have beaten Lewis. By 95 it was gone because Lewis started to work with Steward and Bowe was falling apart. Before that it would have been a good fight. I see Bowe getting in the best shape of his life. Eddie Futch would have polished off a gameplan for Big Daddy to execute and Lewis was getting sloppy. I think Bowe wins from `93 `94. Probably loses the rematch or rematches.

    I think Lewis > Bowe.

For Bowe to beat Lewis, Lennox would have to have an off night and Bowe a good one.

Spot on. This is the danger time for Lewis against bowe. Bowe is still dangerous At the moment so Lewis could could come in over confident and be caught.if mccall can do get lennox so can bowe.

How did lewis fought big guys? By bringing the fight to them.

Good luck trying to do that against big daddy, shw with the best infighting skills, heart and chin.

Lewis got knocked out cold twice by overhand right hands, bowe had a great one and could throw it all night long.

Bowe destroys him... Lands one big right and by by lenny

Lewis would beat him, probably stop him, Bowe has a punchers chance of course but Lewis wouldn't be taking any chances with Bowe.

Lewis was brilliant when at his most focussed.
This wouldve been his defining fight.
Im a big fan of both , so its no criticism of Bowe, however
Im 100% Lewis in this match up.

I think as a boxing fan for about 50 years this fight not coming off was the biggest disappointment. This one would have been a helluva matchup. Despite Bowe`s transgressions later he was a big, talented heavyweight with the tools to bother anyone. He had a great trainer/cornerman who knew how to exploit weaknesses. Not counting Lewis out by any means we saw what he was capable of.

He did I agree. Looked great against ruddock, did the job against a still good tucker but then seemed to slip against Jackson and Bruno. And mccall just put a big fat question mark on his head.

I think the two Holyfield bouts by that time took a lot out of Bowe, I think Lewis wins in 94 but Bowe would have won in 92.
