Ah, man. Bowe has been messed up by the punishment he's taken. I've never liked him, but he didn't have to end up like this. That's sad.
He always had the slow slur and pause talking since he was young. Punchy?Not really bc he jokes about keeping his name out of the spot light in every interview and actually helped Briggs in his last fight. He's actually very sharp but i guess ppl only watched high lites of fight clips back in the day and never heard him talk?
He always had a slur and poor speech skills but if you're suggesting his speech has not deteriorated significantly since 1995 then you must be kidding. He sounds like the epitome of a punch-drunk fighter now, and a very severe/advanced case. Perhaps he was punchy back then too, and shame on us all for not calling it sooner. Now he sounds like Muhammad Ali did in the 1990s.
Bowe would be a better super heavyweight than anyone that Joe Louis fought. Would be an excellent fight that could really go either way. I could see Bowe cutting Louis up with that jab for a lot of rds but Louis could perhaps come back and finish Bowe.
