Despite suffering a crippling attack from The Fan Man moments before the fight, Buddy sends Bowe tumbling out of the ring in the first round. Beating the count with the help of Jessie Jackson and his entourage, Bowe clubs Buddy down with shots to the back of his head and uppercuts him while he's on his knees with another illegal blow. Baer's corner demands a DQ and refuses to let him out of his corner for the next round. Rock Numan and his body guards rush the ring and attack Baer with oversized walkie talkies and a race riot erupts. Max Baer rescues Bowe's pregnant wife from the rioters only to make sweet love to her all night long, winning a bet he placed earlier in the week.
Buddy would be a prety bad stylistic match for Bowe. If I had to call it I would say that Bowe bails himself out with a stoppage while he is taking a beating.
