    Bowe is the better boxer, more polished, faster, bigger, better chin, better stamina and defense...

    Some say Bowe has bad defense, well i challenge you to find a foreman fight where he exhibited some of the defensive skills and moves like bowe in the first holy fight?

    Foreman couldn't slip a punch to save his life, ali hit him at will, the man looked like a modern reincarnation of max baer as far as skills, crude caveman...

    Only big man foreman fight was ron lyle and he went life and death with that ex con bum, a polished boxer-puncher like bowe would have destroy him that night

    Foreman had no defense, but compare his career and longetivity to Bowe.

    Foreman would beat Bowe up. Its all good going to war with someone like Holyfield, trying to trade blows with Foreman at his peak is suicide.

    And I don't give a **** how much heart/balls you have. Just ask Frazier.

    It's funny how people credit foreman like he has some super human strength and power, you can't brawl with foreman?

    Says who, 205 frazier or 215 ron lyle who almost had him out?

    How about 240 6'5 fast and skilled boxer?

    Foreman never saw something like that in his prime...

    Another vote for Foreman.

    Only reason Bowe is so highly rated is because he managed to sucker the much smaller Holyfield to go to war with him.

    When he took on Golota we saw what a large and skilled heavy could do to him.

    Take the Holyfield trilogy away and Bowe doesn't look that great.

    Brutal war while it lasts, but Foreman's firepower would be too much for Bowe and Bowe would be stopped within 6.

    Only reason foreman is highly rated is cause he beat frazier. See how that works?

    Foreman never fought a skilled +220 boxer puncher.
    Lyle had him kissing the canvas and almost out, ali knocked him out, young knocked him down...

    As far as going in war with holyfield, how about getting knocked down twice by lyle?

    Also golota is more skilled than foreman and bigger also

    Because he did. Heavy hands, he could move his opponent with glancing blows. I think he may have broken one of Peralta`s arms while he was blocking a punch. I think it`s fair to say George Foreman had uncommon power.

    Foreman is highly rated because he has a fantastic resume. He damn near killed Ali, is another way to look at it.

    Bowe couldn't even beat Pierre Coetzer without hitting him in the nutsack, whereas Foreman ... ANCIENT Foreman, did it fair and square.

    Holyfield couldn't put ANCIENT Foreman down, yet he floored Bowe.

    Foreman seems a cut above, to me.

    What if Rock Newman jumps up on the ring apron and puts a choke on Big George from behind? That could change the outcome.

    Yeah, you're right. I never really considered this aspect. :thinking: Hm.

    As long as Bowe's team doesn't get early 90's model walkie talkies, I'm still favouring Foreman ;)

    Except frazier and norton, not much of a record...

    Bowe was never stopped, Foreman got ko'd by ali who was almost featherfisted at that time, featherfisted young knocked him down and of course lyle...

    Bowe had a better chin

    He did have great power, but people act like no one can trade punches with him, which is weird considering he fought smaller man and lyle had him out almost, bowe doing better is possible, especially considering that bowe is bigger, faster, more skilled and more proven chin and stamina

    bowe weighed 230-235 in his prime , at 240 -245 was fat and soft .saying that bowe had better chin than foreman was a great joke, i remember you saying on another thread that bowe was stronger and did hit harder than foreman too.
    also.. bowe was not "bigger" only a little taller, Foreman at 18 in the amateurs weighed 226 pounds and bowe at 21 weighed 216 pounds, it is a big proof of their natural size. Also Foreman was the much stronger man, bowe was soft and fat, Foreman was solid and strong like hell, bowe did not hit particularry hard neither. You got here 2 men that will exchange fire and Foreman hits harder, got better chin,better jab and is physically stronger.
