235 his stamina would be even worse... foreman was strong no doubt about it, but he had crap stamina even when 220, with 235 he could only fight by amateur rules 3x3, not even close like big daddy showed as in holy fights

bowe average chin huh, how so? never stopped, only knocked down against holyfield, a very accurate puncher who dropped guys like tyson, mercer (great chins)....and against golota. against both golota and holyfield he was past prime and still won both fights, and took some of the worst beating in hw fights against golota, and still fought back, what a chin, what a warrior!!!

bowe had one of the best, crisp uppercuts, it was short and nice, unlike looping telegrahped foreman uppercut... also you remind me of george's habbit of pushing his opponenets, lol not a good idea against bowe who would exploit openings and rip punches at him

I think Bowe has a chance, but his defense was pretty average. Bowe felt Hide was the best puncher he fought and was hurt and floored a few times from Golota. An average defense without a good chin is curtains vs Foreman.

The 1990's was loaded with punches in Lewis ( who easily landed his right hand and hurt Bowe in the Olympic gold medal match ) Morrison, Moorer, Tyson, Tua, Ibeabuchi and others. Bowe didn't fight any of them, I think because his management knew it was a risky fight, and they all could knock him out.

Foreman was 260 later in his career with much improved stamina it wasn't the weight that was the problem.
Bowe is a warrior but his chin just wasn't good, holyfield never put tyson down like that, the KD was a balance shot and then holyfield just pounded him in the end but tyson wouldn't go down, golota wasn't a huge puncher either but he hurt/knocked down bowe with one shot. It's not like he took a beating first and then went down like holy did against him he was constantly hurt.
Again I think bowe is better all round than young george but I wouldn't say he bets george for sure. Only if he fought a perfect disciplined fight.

i did read that morrison knocked bowe out, they were usually sparring partners, i don't know if it is truth but it would not be a big surprise, morrison did hit harder than golota

After beating Foreman in the 1990's, Morrison was mentioned to fight Bowe next. It would have been a mega event. Morrison's camp wanted the fight, Bowe's pyscho manager Rocky Newman did not.

why are you mentioning bowe's defense, when foreman's was a lot worse? he's the one who should be worried about defense cause he didn't even have a one.

remember cooper hurting and flooring holyfield? see when he fought bowe, bowe fell asleep in the first round, and didn't even feel cooper punches. and cooper could bang.

golota? he was big, strong guy, hurting david tua in the gym... couldn't stop shot, tired bowe even though he give all he had.

    bowe was never stopped.

foreman was... and which punchers he fought in his first career? he made rony lyle look like a puncher and a good boxer, an ex con with no boxing pedigree... he also made jimmy young look like a puncher :D

    bowe's chin was more proven.

Holyfield looked great all the way up to the 7th round when he floored Bowe. He gassed trying to take Bowe out in the corner which was a foolish mistake on his part.
Bowe then proceed to batter him which is what lead Foreman to make the pine box comment.
Holy was cleared for that fight and was declared 100% medically fit to box.
The only problems he had was Riddick Bowe problems. The situation is simple. Bowe was a brutus and Holy could not handle him. He totally gets credit for bulldozing Vander.
Bowe would have cleared Holy all 3 times if it wasn't for fan man.

yea but foreman had a low punch output and threw mostly arm punches, with no energy lost in his defense moves (again :D ) ...i mean no slipping, rolling... cross hands defense... he never fought on a intensity level

i think bowe's chin was better/ more proven, i don't want to repeat myself, so i'm not gonna reply to you about chins.

i'm from croatia... land of iron chins ( chuvalo, mavrovic) ... it's in my genes to recognize iron chins, bowe certainly had one :)

So basically everybody thinks Foreman wins except Ticar? Should have done a poll.

Bowe's chin was more proven? Golota had him down and in la-la land. Golota was not a big puncher, only a solid one. Golota could be the best puncher Bowe fought, and he looked suspect taking it. I could easily name 15 guys in the 1990's who hit harder than Golota. See how flawed your premise is? You're using a guy who wasn't a top puncher, and he hurt and floored Bowe. Foreman is an all time puncher and destroyer, and there is no way Bowe beats Foreman the way Ali did.

The list of puncher's that Bowe beat was short. Foreman had the better chin. No questions. Frazier's hook had no effect on Big George. Good point, Bowe fell a sleep vs. Cooper. Do that vs Foreman and he's dreaming. 2 rounds is a pretty short fight, Cooper did not land enough and had had only won 2 of his last 6 fights.

Holy floored Bowe too. If not for Golota being Golota, he might have stopped Bowe.

Lyle was a good boxer and puncher.

I knew a Croatian ... nice guy very clever but a bit strange. He hated the Serbs cause they shot him in the ass in the war and he kept on complaining about gypsies selling watermelons in Croatia despite not living there for 20 years :D Filipovic and Cikatic were Croats iirc.

No he didn't look great until he dropped bowe are you kidding? He was basically languishing on the inside soaking up punishment until he landed a punch out of nowhere. A healthy fit holyfield does not gass out and fail to finish like that, the fight before against mercer he looked great, clearly not the same in the 3rd bowe fight.
Come on!! I know you're not serious.
An you think bowe would have beat holyfield the 2nd time? LMAO.
I'm sorry but that's not reasonable
