Being a younger boxing fan, I (started watching in 04) am not really familiar with this fight. I have heard of it many times however because of the "fan man" incident. I was wondering if some of you older boxing aficionados would be able to educate on the circumstances leading up to this fight...

Who were the promoters for each fighter?

Were there any concerns of stamina issues from either fighter leading up to the fight?

Did either fighter come out stronger than usual during the begining rounds?

Was either fighter in trouble in the round prior to the "fan man" interruption?(whether it be cuts, stamina or fatigue)

Just wondering because this is one of the strangest incidents that has ever occurred in sports and was wondering if there could be some type of explanation.

watch the hbo legandary nights docu on holy vs bowe, covers all 3 fights but the 1st one in most detail, the story generally is that bowe once he was champ went on a world tour and he loved to eat hated to train etc etc so once he won the title he didnt really want to do the work to stay champ, think how difficult it is for a smaller fighter to flucuate in weight from say 140 to 170pounds now times that by 3 with a guy who weighed 240-250 fight night to probably close to 300+ between fights
