bowe would have won. he was a better pro boxer at that point. lewis under pepe was an accident waiting to happen imo.

but bowe ducked him & now we'll never know.

 

Lewis was just not prepared for the aggressiveness of Big Daddy as alter we came up to see when he faded in two at the Wembley Arena to Oliver McCall.

 

in 1993 I pick Bowe, in 1995 and post I pick Lennox. Overall Lennox is the greater fighter.

The only advantages that I give Bowe over Lewis is chin & infighting ability. The problem is, I don't think the fight would be fought on the inside :nono Golota out boxed & out jabbed Bowe so I see no reason to believe Lennox couldn't do the same or better.

Contary to popular opinion Golota fought a prime Bowe IMO, especially the second fight when Bowe got his weight down, same result.

 

& in 93 lewis was getting outjabbed by frank bruno.

by 95 with manny training him it's a comfortable lewis win...but in 93?

A motivated riddick bowe destroys lewis. He takes a better punch, has a better jab, better boxer on the outside, better counterpuncher, and way better on the inside.

 

No version of Bowe, not even Motivated Bowe, beats any version of Lewis, not even Fat, Unmotivated Lewis.
Bowe was well aware of this, which is why he dumped his belt rather than fight him.
