I don't know exactly what is a prime Bowe. Is that guy who volunteered to get in the trenches with Holy rather than keep him at a distance? That's not going to work very well against the stronger Wlad.

Prime Wlad has a better jab and better footwork but Bowe could definitely pressure him into uncomfortable territory and had a fine, scientific jab himself.

Almost any result would not surprise me.

Bowe had a very short prime. He looked in such great condition for the first Holy bout. That Bowe would tear apart Wlad inside as Wlad won't be able to do his usual leaning. Wlads only chance is at distance but I don't see him preventing Bowe from getting in close for long. Wlad had no inside game and the result would be brutal.

No outcome would surprise me, but I'd slightly favor a Wlad knockout. I think Bowe takes too much damage trying to close the distance after not finding much success on the outside.

Lets not get carried away here. Wlad had all sorts of complications with Thompson. His face was all busted up/cut and it was a clinch fest like the rest.
He heavily relied on his power and rough house tactics to find the KO blow on a weak , slow, frail old man whose leg was injured entering the ring.
Wlad body slammed him late in one of the rounds out of frustration and deliberately landed on his legs knowing about his injury. He would do the same years later when things weren't going his way vs Fury via a head butt.
This Wlad character was not a true fighter.
Even the Golota Bowe shatters his chin along with his fragile mental state. Only Golota superb Duran like inside fighting and defensive slickness troubled Bowe . Skills Wlad has zero of.
Peak Bowe vs Wlad is a comical mismatch.

Bowe has to be one of the most overrated boxers of alltime on this forum. The guy was a walking punching bag whose crowning achievement was outpointing a CW he had a 40 pound weight advantage on and throwing his world title in the trash to avoid Lewis like the plague. Wlad schools him with the jab worse than Golota did and knocks him out cold with the left hook or his torpedo of a right cross

'stronger Wlad' couldn't out muscle Fury when he looked for his safe space against him. Instead he turned his back and ran in the opposite direction. :meparto:

Sorry , Wlad isn't controlling the best SHW inside fighter ever inside the wheel house.:chuck:

wlad in his prime went life and death with sam peter who floored him multiple times, bowe is bigger and a bigger puncher than peter, and miles ahead in boxing skills. really no argument can be made for wlad surviving, let alone winning this match-up. probably the worst match-up for him

What makes you say that Bowe was a bigger puncher than Peter? Peter's money punch was instant doom for a lot of opponents. :laser-kill:

Didn't even bother reading your tripe.

You're a proven and renowned idiot when it comes to matters regarding Wlad.

    Cheers.

i don't know if you are serious or not... but to answer the question, how about knocking out better competition and how about flooring multiple times the iron chinned evander holyfield and eventually knocking him out vs i couldn't knock out a glass chined wlad and a blown-up middleweight way past his prime?

also keep in mind that bowe had the best balance, punching technique and leverage of the big boys... so when a 6'5 240 lbs boxer throws a perfect punch... peter was crude and wide punching

I'm dead serious. This should be obvious but knocking out better comp doesn't necessarily mean you hit harder, especially when you're the beneficiary of such an obvious skill and athleticism gap.

peter was strong as an ox and may even be physically stronger a little bit than bowe, but we can only go with what can we see on the video, in the ring... and the fact is bowe is a much better boxer and way more polished, being a better/bigger puncher knocking out better and more durable fighters... if peter learned how to properly use leverage and had a punching technique like bowe, he maybe would have hit harder than bowe, but it what it is...

Wlad is the guy who went absolute prime went down to guys like a retired failed contender, a fringe outside top ten contender and 90s WBO NABO (ie worthless AND lesser title) guy.

prime Bowe wipes him out in seconds.

however wlad has greater much greater commitment and longevity. Chances are he would be able to wait till Bowe aged and got shot, thus beating him in a rematch years later.
