Well, he's managed to get 9 pounds under the heaviest weight of his career. Uh...congratulations. Now if he can just do something about the ring rust, wear & tear, scar tissue, faded reflexes and jaded synapses maybe he can get somewhere. The weight is arguably the least of his problems. I'm sorry, but this is not a story I see with a happy ending. His opponent should be no challenge at all, but it's what comes after that's the problem. As for Bowe's lost millions...court cases for several different domestic violence charges, including the biggie for abduction that saw him in jail for 18 months or so, a Tyson-like fondness for buying lots of unneeded stuff then ditching it when it became boring, and an awful lot of food. He lived the high life because he believed he was going to be on top for many years. Why not, considering everyone told him so?
I had some 1990's footage from team Bowe rolling down the road in a motor-home and they stopped into KFC...... Bowe did not go in for the chow, but Rock Newman did... Later on while rolling down the road, either Newman or Bowe was caught on film rippin' farts in the back of the motor-home.... MR.BILL:yep:-admin
The fact that he is still trying to fight is pathetic and depressing. He obviously needs the money, as there is no legitimate reason for him to continue to fight at his age and with his physical condition. Its not even a comeback, a comeback is where a fighter comes out of retirement and can still be considered a contender. Bowe is a beyond shot fighter that needs money, he couldnt beat anyone in the HW Top 50.
No matter what he does in this pointless comeback, he will always be remembered for giving away the WBC title like a *****.
