    Right. When you lift for boxing your really trying to improve your endurance, with small weights and large reps. If your just a weightlifter then the bowflex is great for building muscle, but for boxing freeweight is more effective.

    ummm no. u show me a good body builder that uses the bowflex. also high reps arent the only things boxers need

    It's an alternative to lifting free weights, it uses tension for resisitance, it's great for someone that doesnt have a spotter and wants lift Heavier weights. From my personal experience, it really targets the muscles your trying to workout more, especially the biceps.

    It's the same as any other resistance machine, except it uses tension rods instead of a weight stack.
