Bowie Tupou - A new, but bigger, version of David Tua

    This guy is one big, powerful dude who comes from Tonga. Keeps getting compared to Tua. 260 or 270 at only 6 foot 2, lean. Legs the size of tree trunks. Reminds of a bigger version of Tua.

    12-0, thus far, and seems like a good guy who is only 24 years old.

    Apparently he has freakish power, but can he box, at all, and does he get winded early, as I suspect may be the case, given his size.



    Anyone seen him fight?

    Are you sure? If Tupou is 6' 2" then it would make that other guy like 5' 7". :think

    Yeah Bowie is a Tongan Aussie, Johnny Lewis was training him here in Aust for a little bit but then they split for some reason. He is ok i spose, there are some good local matchups to be made with him in Aust and NZ before he makes waves abroad.

    Yeah Bowie was a promising heavyweight before heading overseas.
    Would have liked him to stay in Australia for a couple more fights & take on fringe gatekeepers like Bob Mirovic & Shane Cameron.:deal
