Yeah i don't buy the whole "chin means the whole of his head". That's just a lazy excuse to throw out the "lol he haz a glass chin :rofl" meme that's very popular in this forum. Also it seems a few on the posts here actually refer to his actual chin :D

Regardless, Tupou wanted an easy way out. Or are we really saying that Parker has Wilder-esque power now?

Never even heard of these 2 bums. Glass jaw aside, the guy in the red trunks looked like a typical bar brawler, UFC style. Total amateur with ZERO skill.

Would it help if I just said he has NO PUNCH RESISTANCE????:patsch

The bottom line is that Tupou can't take a shot ANYWHERE on his head, and that's why he lost the fight. Like I said, you'd have a case for him "wanting the easy way out" or whatever if he hadn't been starched three times before this.

And the Tupou camps attempt to allege this is a foul is every bit as ridiculous as this nonsense about dives. The bottom line is Tupou can't take a punch, which is why he loses fights. End of story:yep

On a side note Parker looks extremely promising... The kid is going to be a major player in the post-Klitschko era. Offensively he puts any of the newer HW prospects to shame... His handspeed, power, and combinations are off the charts. Only thing he really needs to tidy up on his defense, and jab... If it weren't for those things I'd have him ahead of Joshua in terms of potential, and future dominance. With time he'll have those issues sorted out... The upside this kid has is unreal.

    Some people dksagj.

Like Khan doesn't have an awful glass jaw because he got punched in the neck. :patsch

Good thing you're here to school these youngsters about punch resistance. :thumbsup

He has a glass jaw, and that's probably WHY he took the dive. :deal

Just like Seldon did against Tyson. Some people still, to this day, think Seldon was NOT acting, when he clearly was.

    Glass jaws exist.
'Dives' are common in boxing too.

Often fighters 'dive' because they know they are going to get KO'd anyway.

There was no dive, he simply got knocked cold, end of story.

He was hit with a grazing shot on his weak forehead it rendered him unconscious. :yep

If it was in the U.K

The commentators would definitely say something like - "Goodness me" :rofl:nut

His whole body went stiff and he faceplanted the canvas with his right arm folded underneath him, look at the way his legs spasm when he lands. Its impossible to fake being KO'd like that, he was unconscious as soon as that shot connected.

He didn't faceplant the canvas he turned his body slightly. It was a very good dive.

Hypothetically speaking the only reason I could see it being a dive is if Tupou was like "NO. I want none of this." after feeling the speed and power coming at him, as clearly he wasn't very likely to get out of that fight without some concussion. Either way, KO seems like a fair official outcome. Moving right along, Kali Meehan next. He may last over 15 minutes! ;)

Yeah, some of "us boxing fans" are ridiculous -- ridiculous enough to have even trained and/or boxed before.

You definitely need to apply the bolded part in your last statement above to your own conduct here. I say this to you on the behalf of everyone you replied to in the above post, since you referred to us as "clowns" for spotting low punch resistance.

Bowie Tupou's Chin is not durable. Unlike the dive situation, his Chin being weak is not up for debate.
