anyone who knows a bit about danny expect him to be too tough for tupou. its a step up for tupou but he needs to win no doubt. i don't suppose many would know much about bowie tupou outside australia. i believe he is trained by jeff mayweather, anyone know for certain?
Tupou was hyped as the next David Tua. Key word here is hyped. Lets see what he can do with a journeyman.
i don't believe that he was as he not long ago just started boxing. no amateur record so i don't know where u heard such opinions. he has alot to learn yet but he seems very keen to put in the hard yards at least.
ive never seen him live but he is built like a brick shithouse from seeing him on tv. certainly must be imposing for any challenger even though they might think he lacks in the skill and experience department. anybody here seen him?
first danny batchelder thread i have ever seen. the guy is a natural super middleweight who got fat and became an opponent at heavy. wouldnt get too excited about this fight
just noticed he is 26yo. for some reason i thought he was around 32yo or something. but yes its frustrating when you see up and coming fighters and it seems to take forever to see them fight credible opponents to gauge whether they are as talented as first thought.
