This Friday's BoxAcademy has been moved from the Oldham Sports Centre to the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester. The card remains the same, and it's still being televised live on Boxnation.

For clarity - the reason this was moved was down to the fact that Oldham only hold a license to stage events on a Saturday & Sunday. We only found out last yesterday evening, hence we had to move the show to Bowlers.

    Cheers.

:goodCheers for that mate, looking forward it!

Good concept, hope it takes off, particularly like the idea of the bonus payment to the participants in the fight of the night:happy

    Long live Boxnation:D

When I watched MMA I wasn't a fan of the UFC's bonus policy as inevitably the FOTN award would have been more aptly named "Sloppy Brawl of The Night". I'm a bit cynical about giving out these bonuses partly due to that reason.

I agree. I'd be more in favour of a "performance of the night" or just "fighter of the night", then you have a bit more scope for rewarding somebody who just boxes out of their skin, whether in a war or a chess match.

the lack of domestic fight cards have been the disappointment on boxnation - did they promise 1 a week its been more like 1 a month!!!
