    :-(

    Anyway..

I think the channel could be a good thing. I share Rob's opinion that it's probably not workable in the long term as I don't think there's enough dedicated boxing fans to make it successful.

That said, the opening few months schedule is good and it's bringing us a lot of fights that other stations wouldn't have (or would have put on a ppv).

I'll probably be subscribing but a lot depends on the broadcast quality. I'd really want it in HD now though and if any good international fights don't get the screening on here then I'll be disappointed and questioning how worth it it'll be. But for now I'm positive on the channel

I think we need to keep boxing in the main stream - preferably on terrestrial tv - in order to grow the support of the sport AND make a success of Box Nation.

I'd like to think that Fwank would speak to BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 and offer them a weekly magazine programme.

Basically interviews with fighters building up for their fight and then highlights of the previous weeks fights as well... Something like the ATP Tour and Athletic round up shows you get on Sky Sports.

If this show was produced by Box Nation and sold to the TV company for buttons it should benefit all parties as the exposure would be invaluable?

It does feel like a midfield with 3 old dour journeymen midfielders (four if you include Rawling) with a fat man in Bunce playing in front having to provide all the flair.

    For

    Parlour Makelele Gilberto Silva Freund
    Merson (end of career)

    read

    Rosenthal Rawling Keys Dempsey
    Bunce

    Great stuff mate.

Not usually interested in the TV and ''politics'' side but whatever, I shall give you my support in all of your writing endeavours.

By the way, does this mean when you write about super-flyweight that I'll get quoted?:D

 I'm sort of on a trial bases Jpab. I want to bring some internet forum opinion to mst of my articles. If I have an interview set up, i'll drop by and see if anyone has any serious questions they would like asked. Obviously i can't quote everyone, but i'll do my best.
