    Round 12

Serrano is throwing left hooks and missing badly as Martinez simply drops straight down with deep knee bends. Martinez is down, slip. Serrano keeps rushing in with hooks and sometimes lands them as rabbit punches with Martinez practically kneeling in front of him with head bowed. Serrano is throwing wild combinations, arms never quite ceasing to move in between "punches" (which are really more vaguely aggressive waving motions up, down, and curly-Q). Martinez clinches until the bell.

    10-9 Serrano

    119-109 Serrano

The unofficial Telemundo commentator scorecard has it 115-113 to Martinez. :blood

They gave him the 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th in addition to those mentioned earlier.

The interim WBO Latino featherweight title remains vacant.

It was at stake for Serrano only, as Martinez failed to make the featherweight limit.

In fact, Martinez didn't even make the super featherweight limit - coming in at 131, six pounds heavy.

It would have been. Unfortunately all the facial damage (which may have been from butts/shoulders/forearms as much as legal blows), starting early on, probably worked against him on those official cards and the commentators'. There wasn't a whole lot to split them in the generally very ugly and scrappy rounds, so if you're naively susceptible to the sight of gruesomely tenderized flesh and inclined to score accordingly... :conf
