So is Black tiny for middleweight and probably better suited to welter, or is Martinez a natural light heavy drained down?

    Round 2

Martinez jabs stepping in, brushing his jab past Black's hairline. Black jabs the body. High 1-2 by Black. Hooks at the body by Black. Martinez steps back to give space and make him miss. They both connect jabs at the same time. Martinez steps back and lines up a 1-2. Black's legs splay as though on banana peels and he wavers. Black is down and struggling to stand, on fawn legs...down again involuntarily, KTFO!

    KO2!

Angel Martinez entered with a 3-5-3 record and this is his first time ever being involved with a knockout in professional boxing. (all eleven of his matches so far were decided by judges)

Alphonso Black falls to 7-1-1 (4).

Damn, I just rewound and watched the entire 2nd again. Black looks way more polished than Martinez, but all it takes it one mistake with your chin left unattended...

That was a monster right hand, on review.

...and that concludes the marathon of walkout bouts. :yep

They crammed a lot of boxing into a 90 minute program.

It starts in 10 hours time already... the main event is 14 hours from now (as far as I know)

:huh That is weird. HBO has from 3:30pm to 5:30pm EST blocked out. That suggested to me at least some undercard, even if only just Drozd vs. Masternak or something. If the main event is starting at 3:30pm EST (8:30pm UK, 9:30pm CET...fourteen hours from now) then what do they need two hours for?

I was thinking it would be a co-feature and then Klitschko and Povevtkin in the ring by 4:30pm EST/9:30pm UK/10:30pm CET/12:30am Sunday in Moscow...

It's not like they have a massive undercard.
Could be that my info was wrong... but it was on the internet, and that's always right isn't it?! :!:
