    Round 1

Pintor is catching Sosa on the way in with uppercuts, leaning forward behind a tight guard to await him. Sosa giving up his natural height and length advantage by riding the conveyor belt inside and waiting until he is atop Pintor to begin sledging low with body shots. Pintor is reaching up and landing hooks on Sosa's right ear but getting nudged back with shoeshines on the brow.

    10-9 Sosa, close

    Round 2

Pintor is backing into the ropes willingly and then exploding with uppercuts & hooks. Most of them spray harmlessly off the shoulders and biceps of Sosa but a few clip him on the chin and leave him momentarily shaky before planting his feet and working his own short combinations off the jab. Heavier shots from Pintor standing his ground with his back against the ropes, more plentiful and diverse scoring by Sosa with straights up top and hooks on the body.

    10-9 Pintor

    19-19

    Round 3

Pintor is using occasional jabs thrust up between Sosa's wrists to keep him guessing but is mostly throwing bunches of uppercuts in ambush upon being walked across the ring and reaching the perimeter. Sosa is loosing fast combos on the way in, and smacking Pintor across the kidneys in the clinch, leaning his taller body down to grind into him from above, pushing down on the back of the head to further arch his spine and keep him from seeing where he's aiming those uppercuts.

    10-9 Sosa

    29-28 Sosa

    Round 4

Pintor is trying his hand at coming forward now, curling himself into a crescent shape, jaw parallel with his toes and offset from his buttocks, lobbing a high jab on the way in, very awkward pressure. Sosa is able to use his quicker feet and greater agility to stay in Pintor's orbit but evading all his punches while dusting him lightly with jabs and rapier 1-2s before simultaneously leaning in the opposite direction and veering aside.

    10-9 Sosa

    39-37 Sosa

They should've announced WBC open scoring by now.

    Round 5

Pintor is rowing out an oarsman's jab as Sosa walks forward, a diversion to get him opening up and vulnerable to big uppercuts at point blank. Sosa is caught by one but immediately makes a tactical adjustment, jabbing his way in and then swallowing Pintor into a clinch to stifle the uppercuts. Pintor tries pushing free to rip a big hook, but Sosa is able to yank him back into another clinch and spank him on the small of the back with his free hand.

    Round 6

Sosa is trying a bit of a Dempsey shift on the way in, alternately putting either foot out as his lead and jabbing with the hand on that side, and lathering up into straight combos as he sees free angles. Pintor is ducking, high-blocking, and slouching in to greet Sosa, heaving both arms into him to push him into just the proper range for uppercuts and hooks. Sosa keeps trying for a clinch and eats several power shots in the process. Cut on Pintor's right eyebrow from a clash of heads. Bad one. Less than half a minute left in the round. Let's see if that's a fight ending cut...and, yes.

    10-9 Pintor

    58-56 Sosa

Sosa did land a looping right on that very spot, on Pintor's right eye, just before they crashed together, but it was pretty obviously the subsequent headbutt that opened the cut. The replay shows Pintor immediately clutching a glove to his eye after their heads ram together.

Let's see if the red made the right call. (meaning we should be going to a TD, instead of this automatically being a TKO win for Sosa)
