Boxeo Telemundo: Orlando Cruz vs. Jorge Pazos RBR

Round 1

Pazos feigns his left jab and jumps around Cruz before he can pump his right. Pazos keeps circling and flicking his jab. Cruz tries to chop his way inside with both hands, crowding Pazos and pushing him toward the ropes but unable to land clean or pin him down. Cruz takes galloping steps diagonally forward, cutting off Pazos' escape and squatting to thrust forceful right jabs to the belly. Left hand over the top by Cruz. Pazos tosses a long 1-2 on the back foot. Straight left to the body by Cruz. Right jabs up top, forcing Pazos back. Cruz dances his way in and then steps away as Pazos swerves his upper body in a crouch with his guard up, trying to angle in to set up his own attack. Cruz walks into a big sweeping right hand. Cruz catches another right hand between his gloves and Pazos misses a follow-up left hook. Straight left by Cruz. Right jabs to the body by Cruz. Big wide left hook by Pazos leaping forward, missing.

Round 2

Pazos is lunging in with wide hooks and looping rights, getting blocked. Counter left down the middle by Cruz. Pazos throws a few more wide shots, caught on the arms but knocking Cruz backward. Right jab by Cruz, flush. Pazos sweeps out a long hook and gets nailed with a straight left counter to the face. Another. Cruz sticks the right jab under Pazos' arms and into his stomach. Slow overhands by Pazos. High jabs by Cruz, falling short as Pazos circles to safety. Pazos falls in with overhands, missing. Flush right hook by Cruz as Pazos is coming forward and bowing into it with his arms spread. Cruz dances around him on his toes, then swoops in with some clubbing shots. Pazos clinches.

Round 3

Pazos is circling left and pumping his jab, but not looking where he's going. Pazos maneuvers himself into the ropes, glances back when his elbow brushes them, and is clocked with a long reaching left hand by Cruz. Pazos is pushed back across the ring and stuck in the midsection with right jabs before mounting his own assault, slapping wide hooks at Cruz and chasing him back across the ring while getting blocked. Cruz slips and goes to a knee, and Pazos hits him while down, slapping a hook across his cheek! The referee rules no KD but doesn't penalize Pazos. Cruz gets up and goes back to work on Pazos' body. Right jabs and left uppercuts by Cruz as Pazos tries to slap down on him with overhands. Another flush right hook to the chin by Cruz, leaping forward this time to plant it home with extra impact. A couple of left digs to the body by Pazos. Flush lefts to the face by Cruz.
