Pazos is wandering into right jabs, and Cruz boxes his ears!! Double fist clap to the sides of the head!! The referee warns Cruz for it after an incredulous Pazos turns with a questioning look of appeal. Cruz sticks the jab and turns over left crosses, falling in with them. Pazos is driven to the ropes, ducking barely out of the way of a Cruz 1-2. Pazos jumps in on Cruz with whipping body shots, driving him to the ropes. Cruz sticks his high jab and skips around Pazos. Cruz slips shots while circling, having to backpedal quickly as Pazos leaps in while chucking. Cruz sticks the jab and circles, often slicing the air with it but sometimes catching Pazos' forehead. Whips to the body by Pazos, all weak arm punches.

Round 12

Cruz is pushing his jab out, first high to get Pazos blinking and then pumped steadily at mid-level to discourage him from throwing his left jab, hitting him on the forearm repeatedly. Cruz stays out of range, sliding his feet and keeping his guard up. Pazos throws a jab into the guard and tries to surprise Cruz by rushing forward with a right hand. Cruz speeds away and stays in a circling pattern. Body shot by Cruz. Pazos paws with his left jab from outside and backs up nearly to the ropes, stopping to flop his right arm down. Cruz dances away, and pops a left to the body before spinning it around and crashing it down atop Pazos' head. Pazos is jumping in with slaps to the body but winds up catching Cruz in a spinning embrace. Flush right jab by Cruz, and some more quick footwork to keep away until the final bell.

Round 1

Gonzalez is circling and popping the 1-2 at Flores with his chin held back. Flush left hand leads by Gonzalez from the outside as Flores tries to walk him down. Slapping right hook by Gonzalez, and another straight left hand. Wild haymakers by Flores, trying to bully Gonzalez to the ropes. Quick movement by the smaller Gonzalez, and some quick left hand counters and right hooks. Flores shows his jab and gets popped with a 1-2. Right hook by Gonzalez.

Round 2

Gonzalez sticks his high right jab and tries a left to the body. Flores is trying to time Gonzalez with left jabs and their heads are clashing as Gonzalez darts in with his straight attacks between lateral steps. Flores goes to the body and gets tied up. Wild downpour by Flores, mostly hitting guard. Gonzalez jabs and then ducks while circling to stay under Flores' shots. Flores tries a left uppercut pushing forward after bracing himself against Gonzalez's guard, but is popped with a surprisingly quick jolting right to the face. Big looping left by Gonzalez, and his wrist embeds itself in Flores' neck.

Round 3

High 1-2 by Gonzalez. Flores steadies his aim and holds his left forearm vertical to catch shots while stalking. Gonzalez bats at Flores' left glove with his right when not jabbing at him. Gonzalez curls in a left from outside. Flores reaches and misses with a couple of high straight shots. Gonzalez scores with the jab, ducks, and changes directions without ever ceasing to move his feet. Nice uppercut by Gonzalez. RIGHT HOOK, LEFT HAND combo by Gonzalez. That shook Flores, but he doesn't go down. Uppercuts by Gonzalez, getting untidy. Flores is obviously tired but still trying, sticking his jab out as he comes forward. Gonzalez draws him toward the ropes and absorbs a couple of body shots with his ear muffs on. Another uppercut.

Round 4

Gonzalez is sticking his jab out under Flores' chin and hopping around, getting his ribs cut with a few under-hooks but keeping his face secure. Flores isn't much interested in headhunting but Gonzalez makes sure that his feeble attempts are made to look very foolish by rolling out of the way and countering from angles. Slapping right hook to the face by Gonzalez while sidestepping in the opposite direction he'd been moving to get away from the ropes. Flores ups his work rate, putting in jabs and straights from outside. A few body shots for Flores with Gonzalez backed down to the ropes, but he's unable to keep him there.

Round 5

Gonzalez sticks his jab and backs up. Flores walks into a big looping left to the cheekbone. Gonzalez is backed up by a few blocked right hands but opens up with a big power flurry to get off the ropes, stunning Flores with a right hook. Gonzalez hops around and keeps his head down, jumping up to put left and right hooks into Flores' face. Flores has a bloody lip. Gonzalez is blocking Flores' straight shots while backed up to the ropes and hooking his way out to the side. Flores is eating some big shots but keeps coming forward. Quick combination by Gonzalez, right hook under the ear and a left on the other side followed by another right hook. Flores tries to fix a jab on him but Gonzalez keeps moving and hooking. Straight left counter by Gonzalez!! Flores rocked! Flores keeps coming.
