Years ago, I went shooting on a property east of Goulburn. I was introduced to the overseer of the property by my mates, He was underpaid & over worked.
I gave him some stuff & he was so happy he gave me a case with a custom made Luger designed .22 hand gun his mate had made.

We took some shots with it. In a vise, it couldn't hit the same place twice,
Next morning I went up to the homestead & gave it back.

I told him "Mate, I love this thing, but I'm too bad tempered & it's so inaccurate that even if I did need to use it, I'd prolly shoot some poor **** standing near by instead"

In reflection, it was one of the smartest things I've ever done.:good

 

I'm no ***** or greenie but guns are not my cuppa tea.

I remember going shooting years ago and the blokes i was with were blowing the **** outta all kinds of native wildlife...... not cool, anyman that gets a buzz from that needs a good hard look at themselves.

Hot spots around the planet like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia, Iraq, Chechnya, Mexico, Nigeria and North Korea are no reason for Australians to be arming themselves to the teeth with handguns and other assorted weaponry like 310 million dumb arsed god bothering Yanks.
