IMO, a prime Louis would deal with a fighter like Marciano. He fed on them!

Although it might take two attempts for him to do it really conclusively ;-)

Marciano Vs Dempsey is a dream fight. Marciano late in a bloodbath :yep

 

Louis > Marciano in every respect. I rate Rocky higher than most though. Underrated wins.

 

I would say Duran fits into the swarmer category. Not as an out and out come forward fighter but its a loose term which I think fits because his pace and physicality is one that upsets a boxers rythm.

 

Ive never seen a fighter like Marciano, if there was one & Louis beat him then bravo (I love Louis in a non homo way)

Marciano-Dempsey is almost impossible to call, I think Dempsey's speed might prove crucial.
I wouldnt bet on it, but I would spend my life savings to watch it.

Aesthetically Louis is the most beautiful puncher Ive ever seen with a better record & resume.

H2H its a different story imo/in my head which is a strange & wonderful place.

If Louis lands flush then Rocky probably fights on, if Rocky lands a bomb then I dont think the same is true. Joe never had the quickest set of feet & Marciano would swarm all over him. It wouldnt be pretty but it would be conclusive.

 

Prime Louis would brutalize Marciano IMHO.

 

Marciano was too tough to be brutalised, but he would lose a wide decision or suffer a late stoppage imo.

 

Mid/ late round stoppage after a one sided shellacking.
