I am not a racist person and have no problem with skilled people coming to Britain.
The problem I have got is the influx of immigrants from countries that have no respect for us or our beliefs and it's up to us tax payers to pay for them.

Please answer the questions-
How long do you expect us to be able to cope paying for an extra 1000 immigrants arriving daily?
and have you no qualms if our British heritage was wiped out?

it really isn’t…did you know immigrants are net contributors to the UK?

immigration is an issue (though we do need immigrants and Brexit has caused huge issues getting skilled workers) but there was a reason we had the wind rush generation (we needed them for labour), we need doctors and nurses from abroad, even in industries like finance Brexit has caused issues getting skilled labour, let alone the wider impacts on the economy. Don’t believe everything you read in trashy papers like the Mail. They don’t have your interests at heart, they’re manipulating you into blaming someone other than the 1% who are milking you dry.

With respect to your second comment, a huge part of the British identity is built on immigration. Our national dish is chicken tikka masala ffs. We had an empire that covered a quarter of the globe and brought those people under British rule, a lot of those cultural influences have fed back on our own. To get it back onto boxing, fighters like Benn, Eubank, Naseem Hamed, Lloyd Honeyghan wouldn’t have been here without immigration, are they not British greats? Even Joe Calzaghe’s family immigrated from Italy (for work, not to milk the nhs and get benefits).

 

My last head office was based in Altrincham. Lovely town full of private schools, gated houses where footballers lived etc. they were all Tories and cringed at the thought of being near a brexit voter. I said to my old boss, just wait until it’s at your door and we’ll see. Last year a big hotel in the town (cresta court) becomes a migrant hotel. My multi millionaire ex boss has quickly changed his tune, along with his wife and everybody else.

This is my last post on politics on a boxing forum.

You are making the same argument that a lot of left wing people do.
Being worried about an influx of young male immigrants from countries that hate Britain and have no respect for women does not make someone racist.

We have got swarms of immigrants coming over and on top of that it's tax payers money that is paying for them to stay in hotels whilst our pensioners who built this country (white, black and brown) have their heating allowance taken away.

Why is it right that we have to go to work and pay high taxes when people are coming into the country illegally and get everything free on a plate?

Making this about race is a typical comeback but that's not the case.
Chris Eubank is probably my favourite ever boxer. Fair enough he rubs people up the wrong way, but he's one of the biggest personalities ever in boxing.

The difference between him and the influx of all the foreigners lately is that he is proud of Britain- he even calls himself 'English' as his actual name!

Then you have got Chisora- another who wasn't born in Britain but is proud to be here and actually supports Reform.

It is not about race at all. It is about people coming over to sponge off us taxpayers and make a mockery of our morals and system.
