Just a clarification, the decade started on January 1st, 2000, and ended on December 31st, 2009.

If you're talking about last decade it's Pac. If you want to discount 2000, and include 2010 is still Pac.

Castillo and Corrales weren't b level competition. Castillo 45-4-1 with 4 losses due to cuts and Coralles was uyndefeated and both were in the top 10 p4p list when Floyd fought them. Also that knockdown was dumb and should have never mentioned it. Floyd took a knee because he broke his hand on Carlos's forehead.

Jan 2000 to Dec 2010 is 11 years.

Dec 1970 was not the sixties.

So I went to boxrec really quick and looked under his fight with Hernandez

    Found this.

At least watch their fights if you gonna try and trash someone's record.

    Oh stop whining.

I'm just saying that Floyd didn't accomplish as much in the last 10 years as Wlad or Pac.

I posted that snapshot of his record to illustrate that most of his big wins he either had trouble with (Castillo, ODLH) or they were mismatches (every elite fighter I listed).

Why is it that people are having such a hard time understanding when the decade ended?

    80-89...the eighties

    90-99...the nineties...

00-09......the two thousounds or the double o's or whatever you want to call it.

If the decade was 2001-2010 then that would mean 2000 was still the nineties and 1990 was still the eighties.

It's not a hard thing to understand, really. Yes, we use eighties and nineties to label the 10 years that consist 8 and 9 in the 3rd digit, but calendar decades did not start in 1980 and 1990.

Once again: write down the date on the very first day ever according to the caldendar western civilization is currently using. And 10 years minus a day to that you'll get the first ever decade. Add 2000 years and you'll get the correct starting and finishing date of this decade. Pointless conversation really, Pac wins regardless, I just found some offensive posts odd considering they were wrong.
