I suspect depression is quite widespread among boxers, but that's just an opinion, I don't have any hard data.
Why would you suspect that , after years and years of working with boxers , (trainer ), I've never really come across that has an issue with actual boxers , i think actual boxers , not just people who train and leave , come and go , but guys who actually stay , learn train , and box . Well i think these guys are generally , a lot healthier , stronger in mind , and more well adjusted , than the average kid on the street who has no sport , no ambition and into the dope , and meth , . Not to say theres not boxers who do these things has well , because we all know there is , but i think , amongst sportsman who are into alchahol and drugs , its more use it don't abuse it , . Depresion is a problem , i know this year alone of 5-6 fellas all under 30. who have committed suicide , in fact i was at a funeral last week , and the common denominater in these fellas' is they were all heavy smokers , into the meth , and depressed . 3 off them it was said , because there girlfreinds dumped them .
Don't know where they found Watts's opponent Nicholas Williamson. It definitely wasn't a boxing gym, he didn't have a clue. Always possible he'll turn up in Germany as DeMori's next opponent.
