I'm not sure the source was legit or the one who used to post here (apparently the same).
Apparently he's given conflicting information on his identity in confidence with other posters here.

That guy used post on here and after he was exposed as a bullchitter he never came back.

A good poster called SpMauler blew his act wide open.

You guys sure it's the same dude? He still posts on that same forum seemingly with his credibility still in tact.

    http://www.boxinginsider.com/headlines/oliver-mccall-recalls-the-night-he-knocked-out-lennox/

BoxingInsider: Who was the hardest puncher you faced?

Oliver McCall: “Bert Cooper. Left hook. That was the hardest punch that I ever felt and that I had to overcome. It felt like a truck had hit me. I never got hit by a truck but it felt like if a truck would have hit me.”

BoxingInsider: Who else is up there? Lennox?

Oliver McCall: “No, Lennox wasn’t one of the hardest punchers that I…Buster Douglas hit me harder than Lennox did. Right hand.”

BoxingInsider: How about Tyson? Is he up there?

Oliver McCall: “Tyson right there too. Lennox would probably be about fifth.”

He told me he intentionally left some misinformation to throw people off the path. Unfortunately, he did mention his birthday had recently passed at one point, which didn't make it too difficult to figure the rest.

Why the hell would he want to do that? Is he related to Adolf Hitler or something.....

The other boxers in the other forum have mentioned that the guy is very private.

Well, he point blank told me he was someone who apparently he told you he isn't.
There's a chance he's punch drunk and gets confused about who he is.
    Good poster though.

Can't blame Herc for being skeptical. I could very well be wrong but my intuintion tells me that this is a fan trying nonchalantly to convince us that his hero has power beyond compare. Maybe it was the "by far the hardest puncher" part that made me feel that the whole thing is B.S.

Well after sparring with the best heavyweights of the last 30 years that's no surprise..... me thinks someone has been playing Knockout Kings too much.

The guy has 600 posts on that forum, and when you start to read more of his content, it's clear that he's for real. Don't think the other pros on that forum would vouche for him if that wasn't the case. In fact they would be the first to point out that he was a fraud. Stolen valor kind of deal.

If his 5 years on a forum is all a fraud, that's one long dedicated con. But if you actually read more of his stuff common sense tells you he's for real.
