Yeah, pretty much. I think they've all done interviews with the guy who runs the forum, whom himself has produced solid credible content on various platforms. If I were you I wouldn't be asking me these questions. I would be so excited that there is a whole new source of information out there. Tons. You can not only verify the sources yourself based on your personal style of reasoning and judgement. You could also read some really interesting and awesome stuff. In light of this great source, who cares what I think anymore. If you're skeptical, my opinion should've been irrelevant the moment you had a link to that website!
Strange that he puts up a veil of anonymity by not naming himself but tells all the details and clues (hometown, career, height, weight, experiences). He tells more about himself than necessary for someone seeking privacy, and courts inquiry and interest, yet doesn't tell his name. It's all fair enough.
Or maybe not Shannon Briggs. Probably a figment of Shannon Briggs's imagination. Trained by Eddie Futch apparently.
Thanks, Reznick. I'm the owner of the boxing forum you guys are talking about. I'm a journalist in Tennessee and I've interviewed and written about a lot of celebrities, including boxing figures like Larry Holmes, Shannon Briggs and Marvis Frazier. In fact, I'm helping Larry with his upcoming book. Here are links to the threads with my youtube interviews and articles with Larry Holmes, Shannon Briggs, and Marvis Frazier. Check them out! I had great, lengthy chats with each of them and they each were proud of the articles I wrote about them. In fact, I worked with Holmes and Frazier more than once. Great guys! I'm happy to answer any questions because I've talked to them all personally as well. As for Evolution, the guy is legit. I've tried talking him out of being so private, and I'm very interested in helping him write a book. He lived an interesting life -- turning down a huge monetary offer from Don King, his relationships with the boxers and trainers he worked with, etc. Once you figure out who he is, you'll notice him in plenty of youtube clips. He was in a lot of training clips and in entourages for several guys he worked with. Some of his fights are also available online. The other guys are much more open. Steve Russell used to spar with Mike Tyson. His name on the site is "Brooklyn's Finest." Another is Jimmy Clark, who once was a sparring partner for guys like Tommy Morrison and Butterbean. He goes by the name "Bad Intentions." All of these guys were once loosely connected and had something of an unexpected reunion on my site! lol. Also, Rocky Marciano's nephew (Lou Marciano) has posted once on my site, too. Everyone is legit, gentlemen. I hope this clears up the misconceptions.
Pretty sure those guys had convo going in a thread here since i came back? Hmmmm, i remember there ended up about 3 or 4 decent level Heavies recognising each other as they added details. From memory one put up a link or vid of him sparring. May have even been a young Tyson? Think it was someone decent anyways.
No, Briggs has an obvious writing style that lacks normal use of punctuation. I'm sure he used to hype himself on this site a few years ago. The poster from here had the same style as on Instagram, etc.
You guys just dont like facts and the guy who ran the site even commented on here....heres more info for you on a view of who hit harder,i know you are a big Tyson Fan...lol...Afterward, Zouski said that Foreman was big and strong but awfully slow. ''There's no snap in his punches,'' said Zouski. ''They didn't really hurt. They were thudding punches. Mike Tyson has much more snap. They hurt more.'' zouski actually fought a prime tyson..anyone who thinks foreman had more ONE punch power really doesnt understand the mechanics of generating more force behind a punch...simple!
Yep you're right, Foreman's punches don't hurt people they just numb them cold.... Anybody who doesn't think Foreman is arguably the biggest puncher of all time clearly knows fcuk all about boxing!
Foreman has 40% k.o percentage with guys over 225...get real..and it was Tysons punch moreso that knocked people out with less punches than Foremans punch did. If Tyson had landed as much on Holyfield it would have been lights out,he didnt even hit him alot and made him rock backward with one uppercut and that was a heavier Holyfield on peds. IF Tyson fought Tommy Morrison im also sure if Tyson landed as many clean shots like Foreman did on him would not be standing much after round 2. You don't know what you are talking about!!!
