just interesting to me how great boxers always have a sidekick- one who does everything for the guy but boxing- Pacqiauao - BuBoy Cotto- fat dude Floyd- Ellerbe this relationship i think is one that is seriously underrated- the importance of having that wing beneath your wings guy is really interesting to me. In such a lonely sport- its interesting that fighters need a companion- who is often very much - the opposite of the fighter in many aspects. i havent got really a direction for the thread or a question. just wanted to raise an interesting observation.
Cotto actually comes across as a great guy with his big buddy, they seem to bounce off each other well, no pun intended. Whereas Manny makes his best mate sleep on the floor in a cupboard ... nice one Manny.
Well, I always loved Ali's sidekick, Drew "Bundini" Brown. I don't think any of these modern guys quite compare!
damn....Bobby Pac ain't got nothin else to do, why don't Manny ever bring him around?? lol He hasn't been in any of the 24/7's hasn't walked him to the ring....hows there relationship, anyone know? lol I'd be more than jealous if I were Bobby lol
