Only time I bet on boxing was when I put 100 bucks on BHop to beat Tarver. That's why I still have that as my avatar - it was just so satisfying to see him dominate that fight.

Joe Calzaghe has definitely made me the most money. I can't think of a fighter who has lost me a bunch of money. Not that I haven't lost money just not on the same boxer over and over.

Floyd Mayweather in the De La Hoya and Hatton fights made me some change.

I should bet way more often, but am compulsively frugal.

Bhop has definitely been good to me; Pac and Anne Wolfe as well. I think Vargas was my stupidest pick - I let that era's ex's father talk me into it.

The only two fighters I have lost money on twice are BHop against Taylor both times. And Taylor against Pavlik both times.

Only significant bet was on Toney's ko of Holy. He was the underdog when things started, then things pulled even and betting the ko was the better odds. Worked out neatly.

Shoulda had it on him to beat Ruiz. By the time the test results come back, you've cashed in your ticket and are well on your way.

Bernard Hopkins, easily. He was a 4-1 underdog vs. Trinidad, 3-1 underdog against Tarver, 2-1 underdog vs. Wright, and as high as a 5-1 underdog against Pavlik. Hopkins will get you paid. Guys like Mayweather and Calzaghe always win. However, they are huge favorites most of the time and are rarely underdogs. The payoff isn't that good with them. You're not going to see too many times where an elite fighter is a healthy underdog against inferior opponents. Somehow, it's happened to Nard several times.
