Toney vs Couture is an interesting circus fight....one of my favorite veterans vs fat mouthy Toney...nothing can be taken from the fight.

Neither man should be allowed near the elite of each mans respective sports.

Just to remind all of our MMA enthusiasts, Tim was a big bad wolf in the Octagon for many years...not long before this fight, actually. :yep

 

I think that loss to fedor ruined his confidence, it happened to arlovski after meeting fedor as well. Not to give all the credit to fedor, but tim got fat afterwords and arlovski just does not look the same, against bigfoot silva he looked just awful. :verysad

 

Very good point you make. I very much agree.

 

Fedor faced numerous guys who were on hot runs or at the top of their game but he ruined them. Mentally they must have thought he was the pinnacle of the sport and after spectacular failures they mentally quit.

 

I think Mercer ruined Tim. Never to be the same.
