Litzau, Khan, Froch, Pascal, Ward, Juan Diaz and **** even Baldimor mainly thanks to Judah. I'm always a nay sayer untill I get proven wrong. Which is a good thing.
Jean Pascal Poor performances against Darnell Boone, Brian NOrman and Omar Pittman (in which he was rocked a couple of times) led me to think that the guy was just a Roy Jones Jr wanna be hype who would get blast as soon as he faces top opposition (Froch). Pascal stopped showboating which made him look ridiculous since he couldn't back it up. He learned patience. ANd he has a huge heart and determination. Never thought he could do what he has done so far.
Maidana has consistently shown me that he is better than I thought each time he gets in the ring. From Destroying Ortiz to recovering from a liver shot to almost kill Amir Khan....
Def. has to be Manny, never thought the little guy who was having tough matches in the lower weight was going to do what hes done right now. Though almost everything has fallen into his favor by fighting at the right time against his opponents aside from the demands, you have to give him credit for what hes done. Sergio's KO over Williams, performance against Pavlik. Great!!! Even Victor Ortiz has surprise me. I thought his lost against Maidana prove he was just a hype. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong and I see a much more improve and mature Ortiz in his last few fights with good opponents.:good
Unless your expections were extrememly get the **** out of here. Diaz, Alatorre, Campbell, Harris and then a D with Peterson....this guy was suppose to be the biggest thing in all of boxing 3 years ago.
watch it. he's going to be the middle weight champ soon. that's the same title ray robinson, leonard, lamotta, hagler, monzon, and hopkins held.
Ok i got another one. Carlos Quintana. He was first brought to the spotlight to showcase Joel Julio on BAD only to school Julio and go on to become WW champion of the world. The night of the telecast i remember the crew was basically predicting a Julio destruction and he went on to be the first one to defeat PW.
Carl Froch, Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan and rising Canadian Middleweight, David Lemieux, in that order.
