Its not PBF's fault that he didn't come up in that era ...

About Forrest ... Forrest has been beaten before and will get beaten again ... he's nothing special ... just because he out boxed a brawler in Shane Mosley that he could beat a master boxer in PBF.

    Until someone defeats Cotto.
Cotto has To be the Clear Number 1 For PBF.

M.C. brings as Much if Not more to the table than Hatton Did.
(When It Comes To Power & Chin, Tho Hatton is The defenition of Heart)

You're wrong because it doesn't matter if Cotto loses or not ... he's still the next WW to face PBF ... unless Cintron beats Margarito then beats Cotto !! In that case I would say no but ... even in defeat Cotto has done enough to land a shot ... its just a matter of beating someone who's young and has a name.

I never compared him to Shane. Mayweather is a far better technical boxer than Mosley and the best in the world right now. Sometimes it doesnt take another great fighter to beat a great fighter, just the right style match-up. Mayweather has fought a big, tall, long armed fighter with Forrests dimensions and skill. Chicanto Hernandez, Corrales, and ODLH all stand around 5'11" but dont have the consistent jab, Forrest has in his repetoire. Also Forrest is an accomplished defensive fighter, has good pop in his right cross and uppercuts, and has a style and body type that could give Mayweather hell.

Mayweather took a lot of jabs flat footed, and to be just a little argumentative I have to agree with Hopkins. When Bernie shouted "JAB, OSCAR,JAB" I thought he was reading my mind. I have to say I dont think Floyd countered very well regarding the jab.

He has a bum shoulder and couldn't do much with it ... yeah he's looked healthy as of late ... I think his shoulder is too much of a disadvantage ... because he's had so many surgeries on it and its not what it used to be ...

Yeah he can eat some jabs when he's standing there in his defensive stance looking to pick off punches ...

he does get hit but nothing effective ... you can't just think you can beat this guy with the jab ... if it were that easy then he wouldve lost by now.

Thats Oscar's best punch ... he's a lefty fighting orthodox ... so of course his power is going to come from the jab and left hook ... but he ran out of gas and Floyd neutralized Oscar's left hand.

Right now? Months ago I thought that it was Paul Williams. Now I don't know.

Prime Shane Mosley, at Lightweight, would clearly defeat Mayweather.

Floyd appears dominant to the point that no one at 140 to 147 has a chance, and believe me, except for DLH, nobody at 154 will get a chance especially Forrest, who Oscar would never fight either.
But that doesn't mean that no one should get a chance at Floyd, as slim as those chances may be, and Cotto is first in line. There is no way to tell how Floyd would react to what Cotto brings until they get it on.
Either Cotto or Mosely would trouble Floyd. But until Mayweather decides he wants to be a fighter again, instead of a clown on reality TV, or a phony wrestler, I guess he'll continue to duck Cotto and continue acting more like a fool than a fighter.

imo Alcine would beat him. Floyd is better p4p but he is too small to beat Alcine, who is tall, fast, strong and has a killer jab and good ring generalship

Forrest and Winky Wright. Two styles that PBF would have problems with. Both by the way have fast hands.

Winky Wright. He has the size and skills to beat Mayweather but I would still pick Maywether to win.

Who among the current boxers has the history of fighting Master Boxers & Runners & actually won??? Who can actually match PBF speed????

I can't think of anybody but Pac. Ledwaba was a Master Boxer, Got Koed easy. MAB was a converted Boxer-Puncher, Got TKoed. Learn How to run, still can't deal with Pac. JMM is one of the Best Boxer-Counter-Puncher in Boxing History, Pac Drops Him 4 times.

Remember Castillo beat PBF in many eyes of Boxing fans. Due to Pressure & Granite Chin. A lefty like Judah got a short success in the early rounds. Another Lefty in PBF's 2nd fight give him some Problems. A Granite Chin Famoso can Break PBF 's brittle Fist by using his Chin. Pac has the Pressure, Stamina, Granite Chin, Speed, Power, long Arms, Foot speed to give PBF a fight.

Pac's calling DLH now, Hatton & PBF next after that. We will find out soon. PBF has a reason why he's selective of who he fights. He will be exposed soon.
