I know there's a lot of hate on here for Hamed but if you ever saw all the Badillo fight (1 b4 Kelley) the southpaw jab - accurate, ramrod all night long.

me personally i like naseem hamed he was a good fighter and entertainer. sometimes hamed was hand speed was so quick that it was hard to differenciate whether it was a pot shot or jab he was throwing.

No pot shot jabs in this one. Sitting down on them snapping Badillo's head back.

Imagine how umimposing Lewis's victory over a proud, overmatched Phil Jackson was that the 42-year-old Holmes could intimate that the current crop is afraid to meet him.

"The heavyweight division needs life," Holmes said. "It needs pep to give it mouth-to-mouth resuscitation."

Oh, Lewis can punch. He has a terrific right hand. The first time he unloaded it Friday night it sent Jackson on his face before the fight was 30 seconds old. The third time Jackson hit the canvas, 95 seconds into the eighth round, Referee Arthur Mercante halted the bout.
That lifted the 28-year-old Lewis's record to 25-0. He has knocked out 21 victims. He looks good in trunks. He stands 6 feet 5 inches and he weighs 235 pounds. Too bad he doesn't know how to fight.
The huge advantage he enjoys in reach isn't translated into a pounding jab. Indeed, he throws it off balance. Still, he outjabbed Jackson, 158-21.
"He has some long feet," Jackson said. "His jab cut me away."
Holemes said: "Lennox Lewis asked me to teach him the jab. I told him I will. After I fight him."
