I went through my collection of fights today and watching all the memorable battles I started to wonder what fighter of my generation had the most heart. I came to the conclusion that it had to be Evander Holyfield, he was simply relentless. If there was ever someone who wanted to win it had to be him, you could feel his will in all of his fights.

Recently there's been some fighters who have shown incredible desire. Kelly Pavlik first of all, stepped up and just banged with Edison Miranda who so many feared and then getting pounded by Taylor then beating him twice.

Miguel Cotto has taken some serious shots in fights and managed to regain himself and come back and knock the other guy out, although against Mosley he said he thought he was ahead and stopped fighting hard.

Finally, Katsidis, plain and simple the guy is a warrior. He will follow through with what he wants to do no matter how much you hit him.

as for the new guys defiently one of them, all time would actually take me hours to write out who might have the most desire and why.

yep who can argue against that after what he did in that last 12th round.

that display defines heart and desire.

I remember Jeff Hardings 1st fight with Dennis Andres. Beaten from pillar to post and in the last round he knocks Dennis out. Played out like a rocky movie.
