Tom "tiny" Lister always reminded me of a huge version of Liston.

No actor could do Tiger`s Niberian accent and most of his scenes would be spoken in Nigerian.

Johnny Tapia deserves a biopic movie. His life story was indeed crazy, as his nickname Mi Vida Loca suggests.

Also think a movie about Hector Camacho would be pretty cool.

Emmanuel Augustus would also make a good movie too. Maybe they can try and tie it with The Fighter's Micky Ward.

Joe Frazier. In fact his family revealed that Stallone talked to them and tried to approach movie studios to make a movie on the “real life Rocky” but things didn’t pan out.

The Great White Hope was a Broadway play that retained it’s theatrical origins except for the reconstructions of the Jeffries and Willard fights.

That is more or less how I would do it, but I would come down pretty firmly against him on the Langford issue.

Perhaps a loudmouth brash boxer in real life. If it was back when Smith did Ali we coulda had a “boxing movieverse”.

Smith was nothing like Ali. The film Ali was well received by critics, but was a box-office bomb.

Two films on the same topic.
They were supposed to be Olympic champions, but they were scandalously stolen.
They later had long and super successful P4P careers. With many successful title fights.
Roj Jones Jr. and Evander Holfield.
So which movie do you like best?

Holyfield as a person is very boring and has no charisma, Jones missed out on most of the big fights at super-middle in the 90`s, his fight with Toney is not the stuff of Hollywood excitement.
