Hey, just wondering if anyone is familiar with this video set? I have them all, my grandad bought them from a car boot years ago and gave them to me. A short magasine comes with each of them containing round by round analysis.

    1) Was just wonderind if anyone knows if theyre worth anything? Im not thinking of selling them(unless theyre worth a shitload). Anyone know?

    2) Each video is dedicated to a specific fighter and has several of their fights on it. Most of the greats, although there is 2 or 3 videos on Robinson alone.

However there are 3 videos on specific weightclasses, citing the fighters in them as the 6 best in that class and asking who is the best. What do you make of these choices??

    Heavyweights - Power Punchers
    Jack Johnson
    Jack Dempsey
    Joe Louis
    Rocky Marciano
    Muhammed Ali
    Mike Tyson

    Middleweights - Speed Kings
    Stanley Ketchel
    Mickey Walker
    Tony Zale
    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Carlos Monzon
    Marvin Hagler

    Welterweights - Prime Movers
    Barney Ross
    Henry Armstrong
    Kid Gavilan
    Carmen Basilio
    Jose Napoles
    Sugar Ray Leonard

Don't think they are worth that much mate as I have seen them quite regularly on Ebay. Also they are on video which is pretty much a dying format. The whole set with all the mags might be worth something though.

I'd take Tony Zale right out.

These vids helped me make my first ever lists, i used to buy them from market stalls when i was a kid, i wiped a shop out by bargaining once of these vids that they had. I've always had Tyson and Dempsey in my heavy list, but lets be honest, you could take them out, which saddens me albeit.

Oh i definatley don't have them all. Just read that theres 75. I have about 40 lying around i'd say. With even less magasines. Theres some quality footage on them though.

Ok, i had four of the magazines i think, the rest i just bought as vids only. The magazines, i cut them out years ago and put them on my wall, the pics, they've been made into a killer collage now, quality.
